The Story
Nina Siniakova represents a unique type of a contemporary musician, where her vivid compositional process coexists with her engagement as a professional pianist.
She showed first signs of interest in piano at the age of two while pretending playing piano on a coffee table at her home, later demanding a book being open in front of her- just like if it was a music score.
She started taking lessons at the age of four and eventually grew into a solid performer, being comfortable in a wide range of music, from classical contemporary to jazz, popular and improvisation.
As a pianist she has appeared at Symphony Space, New York, Academy of Music in Philadelphia (as a soloist with Pennsylvania Ballet orchestra), Beethoven Haus Bonn, Germany, Harvard University, Belarus State Philharmonic and Moscow Philharmonic (as a soloist with Yuri Bashmet orchestra) and many others.
Leading Russian composers, Boris Tischenko and Gennady Banschikov wrote and dedicated their works to her which she premiered with tremendous success at St. Petersburg Philharmonic; her current engagements include work at the legendry Orchestra 2001 in Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania orchestra as a Principal pianist.
For an extended period of time Nina Siniakova collaborated with leading American ballet companies and workshops as a pianist, including New York City Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, School at American Ballet Theater, Juilliard Summer Intensive and many others. While living in Germany she was a full-time pianist for the dance departments of Rheinische Musikschule and Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne.
Since 2023 Nina Siniakova actively performs with celebrated Belgian flutist Berten D'Hollander. For their duo she created numerous works and arrangements that they regularly perform in their recitals in the US.
Nina and Berten performances are praised for their highly engaging spirit, exceptional professionalism and unique programming.

Nina Siniakova released two piano solo albums, featuring her unique arrangements of popular and classical tunes. Her colleagues believe that she created a new style, combining classical, jazz, pop, and improvisation all united by Nina Siniakova's unique compositional vision.
Nina Siniakova's playing has a refined sense of phrasing and expression; as a solo performer she boldly takes her listeners on a unique journey, generously sharing her emotional world and believing in openness and honesty on a stage, making her concerts unforgettable.
